Intel Corporation, PCI Components
With the advent of personal computing in the consumer market, the
demand for more powerful PCs is on the rise. To increase PC
performance requires faster processors, support chips, and a more
efficient communications link between them. Faster Processors and
supporting chip-sets are now becoming available, but the
communications link between the processor and chip-sets has become
the performance bottleneck. This talk will focus on complex consumer
applications such as multimedia and mobile computing that require more
powerful PCs and the challenges they present to both designers and tool
developers.
