Identify the camera-ready copy as the original. Don't staple this copy! Write your manuscript page numbers, and the assigned session/paper number lightly in non-photographic blue pencil on the top right hand corner of each page, e.g. with an Eagle Sky Blue No. 740 1/2. Do not print/type page numbers, your manuscript will be copyright-identified and paginated in the order of its appearance in the proceedings.
Make one double-sided photocopy of the paper and staple it in the upper left corner.
3. ELECTRONIC VERSION OF YOUR PAPER
An electronic version of your paper in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format has
to be sent along with the printed version.
You may send a DOS-formatted disk with the PDF file. If the PDF file
is too long to fit on a 1.44MB disk,
you may use a compression program like PKZIP. Please do not send any
Macintosh formatted disks.
If your text editor is not able to generate PDF files directly, there
are various tools existing for converting PostScript files into pdf. A
commercial one is the Acrobat Destiller, but there are also some shareware
or freeware programs available.
For example, if you have installed GSview
and Ghostscript under Windows95/NT,
PDF files can easily be generated by opening the printer setup menu (File->Print),
entering 'pdfwrite' as device name and checking the 'print to file' checkbox.
Other conversion tools, including Macintosh- and Workstation-based
ones, can be found at http://www.pdfzone.com/products/software/toolinfo_convert.asp
